Meet Madison Pollard, born on April 22,2012 at 8:29p.m., weighing in at a healthy, 7 pounds, 11.5 pounds. I arrived at the hospital in San Diego, less than 24 hours later to photograph and meet her. Katie and Mike are first time parents and you would of thought that Madison was their third child, so relaxed. Madison on the other hand, was probably the most alert brand new baby that I have ever met. She definitely like the camera, she was looking right at my lens during the whole shoot. This is going to be a fun first year with Madison, I have a feeling she is going to be a natural in front of the camera. Oh, the fun we are going to have. You might remember Madison’s mommy and daddy from a little over a month ago, Kristi and Mike, and their maternity session in Rancho Santa Fe. Click here to see those photos. I just love it when my couples come back to me when their family starts to grow. I photographed Kristi and Mike’s wedding on November 11, 2009 at The Crossing in Carlsbad, such a beautiful day.  Needless to say I was thrilled when Kristi contacted me about 6 months ago wanting me photograph her maternity session and her baby girls first year.  Baby Madison is due towards the end of April and I cannot wait to meet her.  I met Kristi and Mike in Rancho Santa Fe at The Old Town Hall to capture this most precious time in their lives.  Stay tuned for the arrival of baby Madison. ~Michelle

Meet the adorable Miller boys, Scottie and Ryan, and their cousins, Kailey and Kiara. Our backdrop was beautiful, a private road, beautiful trees and the perfect light. Scottie and Ryan are so cute, their big brown eyes and those adorable smiles. It was really sweet to see the boys with their cousins, so sweet and loving. Amy and Ken you have two precious boys and I cannot wait to photograph them again. ~Michelle

I know I say this all the time about my children, my life and my clients, “Where does the time go?” Seriously, though, where does it go? It seems as if was just yesterday that I met Jaime for the 1st time, pregnant, sitting in our studio for her Hello Baby consultation or when I met Mason at his newborn session and now, here he is crawling, almost walking and becoming his own little person. Before I know it, I will be capturing him as a “Big 1 Year” old. I feel pretty lucky, being part of Mason’s first year, freezing these precious moments for Jaime and Justin. We started the session in our studio, then made our way to McGee Park in Carlsbad and ended with a beautiful Carlsbad sunset. We cannot wait to meet baby Ohaeri.~Michelle

I CANNOT believe that little girl is already 7 months old. I swear I was just at the hospital visiting Mitch and Amanda when little Bailey was born.

Time flies! What I love most about my job is capturing a millisecond of time with my lens that can be looked at forever. Im going to blink, and she’ll be starting her first day of kindergarten.

The little cutie is getting more and more of a personality and its really starting to show through in the photos. I remember when we did our first photo session and she was just a sleeping little ball of blankets; now its all smiles, laughs and sort-of-talking in a baby language only her mother understands. – Bill
