Bill, Belinda and  I started the day with them for the getting ready shots at the stunning Torrey Pines Hilton.  Already a perfect start to a perfect day.  The best day for Nicole and David.  The ceremony site reminded me of a tropical resort that I have stayed at in the Caribbean; simply refreshing. David’s smile as he saw his Nicole for the first time, I think it lit up the whole town.  A beautiful ceremony, followed by a most elegant reception.  The tiny details of this day were well thought out and created by the amazing Caty Buzzetta of Resplendent Design; pure perfection.  Working with Nicole and David was a dream from their engagement session in San Francisco to today; their wedding day.  Thank you for believing in us-Studio Z to freeze these moments for the two of you.~Michelle

The three of them, so very humble. Edward had the cutest personality and oh, my goodness I just wanted to squeeze his little cheeks and legs the whole entire shoot. Even better Alissa and Clint adopted Edward as a newborn. What a lucky and blessed little angel. I am pretty sure though that mommy and daddy feel even luckier. Alissa and Clint, I truly enjoyed capturing your beautiful family today. I had such a wonderful time and I look forward to seeing all of you in the future. ~Michelle

A tropical paradise, a mini Hawaii. Andrea complimented the venue beautifully with the colors of vibrant pink’s and splashes of orange. Andrea was simply a stunning bride. Her eyes, they twinkled and glistened. Andrea’s alluring smile was a true compliment to Steven’s charm. My favorite part of today was strolling through the tropical gardens or better yet “paradise” with Andrea and Steven to capture their love for one another. What an honor it was that you entrusted Bill and I to capture this most extraordinary day. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Tate. ~Michelle

As I was preparing Tony and Adriana’s blog the song came on my iTouch. (I like to throw my headphones on and loose myself in music when I edit, blog, write, even when I clean house. Just ask Taylor & Bailey. I am not quite sure why they cringe at my singing :) - ). I actually haven’t listened to this song in a very long time and for some reason I kept hitting repeat. The words, with the emotion in their images made my heart flutter. The gaze in Tony’s eyes when he looks at Adriana. The tears that dropped down onto Adriana’s cheek when they first saw each other. The way Tony touched Adriana’s angelic face. The way Tony and Adriana embrace each moment with one another. That is what life is about, embracing what you have and never taking it for granted. Each day together is a gift and these two grasp at what they have with one another. In life, sometimes it takes one a little longer to find than others. But, when you do, when you find that person. It is incredible. Life becomes spontaneous. Life’s waiting to begin.

I have known Tony since I was a freshman in high school. So to be asked to photograph his wedding day was truly a honor. The best part is Tony hasn’t changed one bit. Always a smile on his face, making everyone around him laugh; a passionate soul. Shortly before I was to arrive on site for their wedding my iPhone made that text nose we are all so familiar with and it was Tony. I want to share our conversation we had. It brought a tear to my eye.

Tony: “I know this sounds stupid but did you happen to bring the engagement book with you? What a great day :) ”
Me: “Yes, I have it with me.” Gorgeous day for the two of you, so excited!”
Tony: “Words really can’t describe how I’m feeling. :) ”
Me: “Ahh!!! Tony you just made me cry. I am so happy for you!”
Tony: “I am almost crying thinking about this day. I am really glad that you are a part of it too!”

Once I got to Adriana, I shared this text with her and she started to tear up. These two were made for each other.
I am so happy for you Tony. The two of you have waited a long time for one another and well as a good friend just recently told me: “Nothing Worth Having Comes Easy.” Adriana and Tony you give many hope. Thank You for entrusting me; my eye, my passion and my soul to capture this day for you.~Michelle

Aaron, handsome, of course. But, what I will never forget is his never ending grin; priceless. The sun beaming down on Dana and Aaron during the ceremony, mystical. Surrounded by all of their family and friends, pure warmth. Laughter, filled the elegant Del Lago Ballroom at Maderas Golf Club.
