Destination: Romance at Maderas Golf Club

Swoon. Sigh. Gasp. Brooke and Shane’s love story will make your knees go weak and your heart skip a beat. Spring 2008, Orfila Winery in Escondido, is when I first had the honor of witnessing this beautiful love story.  For me it started at their engagement session.  For Brooke and Shane it began a few years ago, maybe from a strong friendship, a smile or just a quick glance.  All I know is, how lucky for me that I was the one they chose to document this love through my vision.

It was a beautiful, perfect day for Brooke and Shane’s romantic wedding at Maderas Golf Club in Poway.  I walked in to the bridal room and Brooke’s face lit up as if I was a long lost friend.  What an amazing soul and heart Brooke has, Shane is a lucky man.  Brooke didn’t miss a tiny detail from her gleaming Betsy Johnson shoes to her intricate bouquet created by Tessa Robeson of Untamed Floral Design.  The look on Shane’s face when he saw his Brooke for the first time was timeless.  A look of “WOW” is she mine?

A beautiful ceremony overlooking the charming golf course and the rolling hills of Maderas Golf Club, simply breathtaking.  Their first dance was heartening and simple, how could it not be with Brooke’s mom singing their love song.  Simply put; breathtaking.  The dance floor was never empty,  how could it be with DJ GUY playing the music.  Studio Z was really excited to have our Z-Booth there, this was our first time using our booth and it was a huge success.

What can I say?  Brooke and Shane, the two of you are amazing and thank you for letting me share your love story.  Congratulations and Best Wishes on this new journey together. ~Michelle

Dear Michelle, Annie, & Bill – I am overwhelmed by the beauty and artistry of your work. As the mother of the bride of course I am bit prejudiced, however; I cannot tell you how happy I am with the photos in the blog and can only imagine how stunning the rest must be. Thank you for making Brooke and Shane’s day live on for all of us. Much continued success to you all!

the saying “a picture is worth a thousand words” is true, but does not give your work justice Michelle. Your photos evoke emotion and memories, and scream raw talent. From our laughter-filled engagement session, to the BIG DAY and the crazy hilarious Z-Booth madness, Shane and I have truly come to call you a dear friend, not to mention a photographer for life!! ;)
Your overwhelmingly beautiful images and touching words brought me to tears. Thank YOU for bringing our love story to life.
