Pure perfection, that is how I will describe this day. From Kim’s stunning dress to Kevin’s smile when he saw his Kim for the first time as the church doors opened. I have to say I was overly excited to shoot their wedding today. Kim and Kevin are just simply adorable together; a unique match. I first arrived to meet with Kim at a house she rented in La Jolla, The Roseland House. I practically fell over when I walked through the front door, simply put; a photographer’s dream. This house was amazing or more like grand. The “dress and Jimmy Choo’s” well, the three of us, we got lost. I would of liked to have taken Kim along with me, but hair & makeup were key at that moment. It doesn’t end at the house, the church was spectacular. I was so excited to shoot at Torrey Pines Chrisitian Church, I had been a guest at this church years ago and I remember thinking to myself; breathtaking. The flowers were beautifully done by Bethany Falefitu of Splendid Sentiments Flower and not a detail was missed with Amanda Boone as their wedding coordinator.
After the ceremony we ventured down to Shell Beach in La Jolla for bridal party photos and “The Romantics.” Norma of NR3 Video Production was right by my side filming Kim and Kevin and it was a true pleasure to finally get to work with her; amazing lady. The reception was held at Azul Restaurant in La Jolla over looking the beautiful ocean. The cocktail and dinner hour was filled with music by none other than David Patrone just to lead into dancing with the sounds from DJ Manny Otero. Followed by a delicious cake created by Flour Power. Yummy!!! I was lucky to have Miss Shannon Henry shooting with me today, it was my first time working with her and she was amazing. Thank You!
